Focus and Scope
An-Nisa’ Journal of Gender Studies is a reputable international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles and scholarly reviews in the field of gender studies. The journal focuses on critical and interdisciplinary analyses of gender, women, and power relations across social, cultural, legal, educational, religious, and media contexts, with particular attention to Muslim societies and the Global South. It promotes progressive and inclusive approaches to gender studies through critical interpretations of religious texts and Islamic law, as well as empirical analyses of gender dynamics in education, public policy, socio-religious institutions, media, digital culture, and contemporary public spaces. An-Nisa' Journal of Gender Studies invites submissions from researchers, scientists, and academics in the ASEAN region and around the world on topics including:
